A selection of pupils from across the School participated in an eco-event delivered by Green Up Your Act, eco-education company. Throughout the day, pupils were taught about how we can look after the world we live in, as well as looking at some special up-cycled products. Pupils then made individually crafted up-cycled note books and bird feeder pine cones during the practical sessions. They were also taught about ‘Earth Ships’: homes and buildings with a focus on being made with sustainable materials and being eco-friendly in their approach to energy consumption and living. An interesting and thought-provoking day for all involved!
