We all really enjoyed the presentation and the bug hotel building despite damp weather! Your workshop was pitched at the right level and length with relevant material which kept all the pupils engaged and also really helped to extend the understanding of the more able children. The presentations encouraged the children to draw on their knowledge and experiences in the world around them and make clear connections to the topics of habitats and conservation we are studying in our science and geography lessons. The hands on activity was enjoyed by all and we look forward to seeing our bug hotels in place in the garden within the next few days, along with some brighter, warmer weather to encourage the insects. A super day!
